At Camp Firelight VBC, students will learn through Bible stories and fun activities that we can trust God no matter what challenges we might face. Rooted in our "Camp Callout" of Psalm 56:3, ("Whenever I'm afraid, I put my trust in you."), Camp Firelight will focus on helping students see through the Bible that God will always go with us: leading the way, sharing wisdom, giving us peace, and sparking joy in our lives.
Each day starts out with large group assembly time and a Bible lesson that reveals a "Firelight Focus" to equip your campers for an active life with God. Students will also practice our Camp Callout (Bible memory verse), which will remain with them in their faith long after VBC.
The students will expand on what they’ve discovered by making their own art projects at the Craft Station, singing new songs at the Music Station, exploring the wonders of God’s creation at the Science Station, playing games at the Recreation Station, and enjoying tasty treats at the Snack Station. Along the way, the campers will hear about our mission project and as they respond to a call for action!
VBC meets June 24-June 28, 2024 from 9am to noon. Kids will meet in age-based small groups and travel together to each station. Early drop off (as early as 8am) is available for families that need to be at work prior to 9am.
We are currently enrolling children four years old through entering 5th or 6th grade in the fall of 2023. (Students entering 6th grade can choose to participate or serve as an assistant!)
There is no registration fee, but donations are greatly appreciated. Donations help purchase supplies for snacks, crafts, science experiments, and more!
Online registration closes Saturday, June 22 at noon.
